Lewis Rowe: Owner of Devonport Car Co. started working at DCC when he was a young man of 15 having recently emigrated to Devonport from the UK. He started by washing cars after school and at weekends for the then Owner Derek Rountree who founded the Belmont yard in 1995 to provide a convenient, local dealership catering to the Takapuna-Devonport peninsula. Lewis took over the business in 2016 and was committed to bringing back the quality & service people have come to expect from the ‘small but busy local car yard’ Over the years the business has grown to become a trusted source for buyers in Auckland and across NZ. We pride ourselves on providing high quality vehicles fresh from Japan and within NZ, and specialize in late model, low mileage European & Japanese models.
